Hey guys, this time we're delving back into RS6 and its future DLC - namely, the much speculated American Operators.

After scouring the web for some consistent info and stumbling across some sound files from this reddit post:

We can determine that the latest duo will apparently feature an Attacker sporting an assault rifle with deployable shock-absorbent pads that will protect the head and shoulders from headshots. This could also limit the field of view, which would be pretty balanced in my opinion. Having your head protected while lying down is also another bonus, meaning an instant headshot is far less likely.

My gripe with this Operator is that he brings less to the tactical table than Operators such as Thermite or Blitz; his rifle-shields aren't enough to allow him to lead the charge into a room, nor is he able to open up brilliant paths into the objective. Still, to fill a slot, he could be an invaluable addition to any team.

Next up is the Defender, who appears to have the ability to deploy additional cameras around the map. This can give Defenders the advantage of placing cameras in otherwise unexpected areas, and allow more freedom of movement without fear of being detected.

This can be of great use to Operators like Tachanka, allowing him to monitor previously-unviewable hallways to cover with his mounted LMG without exposing himself, and Smoke - he could use the cameras to launch & detonate his toxic canisters without revealing his location to the enemy.

Of course, these cameras will likely still be vulnerable to the likes of Thatcher and his EMP grenades, Twitch and her shock drone, as well as standard firearms and grenades.

All in all, these upcoming Navy Seal Operators seem to be a nicer addition to the game than the somewhat lack-luster Frost & Buck in Black Ice, renewing the tactical and strategic feel of the game.
